“Sweet baby blues with stunning pink highlights make this uplifting and serene landscape pop! I feel very nostalgic about North Idaho, growing up fishing, swimming, and mushroom hunting on these lands. This painting is inspired by many memories I spent on the Pend Oreille River. I would make a daily hike down the steepest hillside, cross the railroad tracks and meditate on an old dock my landlords owned. I loved the serene lapping waves and listening to the wild fowl that cruised by. I once went swimming in this exact spot shown in the painting. It was so beautiful and heavenly - it doesn't get much better than Idaho.”-Racheal
